Welcome to our site! Thank you for visiting.
Regordane Info is a non-commercial endeavour that hopes to stimulate interest amongst the world’s hiking and walking fraternity in trekking one of the most remarkable and historic trails in France. By doing so, you keep it open for others to enjoy in the future.
Walking The Regordane empowers you to reflect on all those who came before you along the sacred rocks and stones of this Medieval trail: pilgrims, soldiers, traders and even Kings. Some perished along the way, while others made a living, fortunes or simply friends.
Languedoc-Roussillon is blessed with more than its fair share of top-ten rated hiking trails in France. To follow in the footsteps of Robert Louis Stevenson is one thing; to discover The Regordane is something else – a visceral sense of excitement as you follow the route south taken by Crusaders, Catholics and Reformers.
You will connect with a common sense of humanity by walking The Regordane and the St Giles Way, either individually, with family and friends, or with insignificant others who will remain your friends for life.
This site was really built with you in mind and we hope you will find it useful.
Your comments or questions are of course welcome.
